Pastor Don Antonio Martinez died in Granada on May 18, 2005. Coinciding with his illness and death appeared to various press reports which we express our position and record some clarifications.

On the other hand, some survivors of Mauthausen made us know that the manifestations of this person proved inappropriate for someone to share with them the experience of a Nazi concentration camp them. Specifically, with regard to Mauthausen, stories and descriptions of D. Antonio Pastor unrecognizable survivors. If necessary we could provide loving lampposts the names of these exdeportados, some Andalusian, as they have expressed to us their agreement.
5 - Later we found that D. Antonio Pastor did not appear in any records related to the Mauthausen camp. We could also find public records French evidence that this person, precisely the period in which he claimed to have been deported, was actually in very different situations that, well being interned in the camp at Vernet d'Ariège (France) or well as in Spain after their voluntary return in July 1941, so he could never have known the German occupation. It is also misplaced his alleged resistance activity against the German occupier.
6 - Our conclusion, based-among many-in the elements mentioned, is that the stories of this person loving lampposts are not the testimony loving lampposts of a deported to the camp
