Current oms lighting parties (through games only)

An excursion to Lund ASK history evokes nostalgia. In February 1976 LASK played a semifinal match against Burevestnik, Moscow. A bunch of great masters of world renown visited Lund, a team who then won the European oms lighting Cup and probably could have won the Chess Olympiad (that I wrote at least in the abstract in Chess News). In connection with the dubbelrondiga match was arranged a lightning tournament at the Academic Society on 23 February. The course was dominated large by the Russians. From history: Seven Russians and seven Swedes took part in a flash tournament which was won by Tajmanov of 11.5 / 13. LASK got two winning parties when Krantz defeated Alburt and Grahn won against Gulko. People had to rejoice at every point. Simon Krenzisky published my party against Boris Gulko in his chess column in Sydsvenska Dagbladet. Boris Gulko - Lars Grahn Nimzoindiskt (E 21) 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Sc3 LB4 4.Sf3 0-0 5.Lg5 h6 6.Lh4 d6 7.e3 Sbd7 8.Le2 dE8 9.Dc2 Lxc3 + 10th Dxc3 SE4 11.Dc2 12.0-0 f5 g5 13.Lg3 Sxg3 14.hxg3 Nf6 15.Ld3 KG7 16.e4 fxe4 17.Lxe4 Sxe4 18.Dxe4 DG6 19.De3 LD7 20.Tfe1 TF5 21.d5 e5 22.Sd2 Taf8 23.f3 T5f7 24.Se4 LF5 25.Da3 25 ... g4! 26.Sf2 gxf3 27.Te3 e4 28.g4 Lxg4 29.Dc3 + Kh7 30.Txe4 LF5 31.Dxf3 Lxe4 32.Dxe4 Txf2 33.Dxg6 + Kxg6 Gulko continued and gave up a move before dimensioning. oms lighting He then took up the clock tower and directed oms lighting an accusatory glance at striker. He shook her lightly on the clock but it was still hanging. The favorite among my flash games are still there against the German Clever in Luxembourg in 1971 (published in Chess News) due to the final phase. Lars Grahn - Clever oms lighting White pulls White, then play in and it's something that hangs on c4. 21.Txd4 !? Better is 21.Ld5! but it takes almost a pieces Fritz to understand why. 21 ... cxd4 Fritz suggests the icy 21 ... Lb7! Advantageously for black. The question is whether any human brain finds such a move in a flash party. 22.Dxe4 !! fxe4 23.Tf8 +! Sxf8 24.Lf6 dull I think that even the final position is hosting a graph. Nowadays it becomes offices flash with your buddies Frederick and Goran. I lost the last match against Goran but could console myself with the following batch out: Lars Grahn - Goran Adamson White pulls 1.T1e7! upgraded. Goran then gave up but Fritz gives a study splendid oms lighting way to something resembling a rescue: oms lighting 1 ... Dxe7 2.Txe7 d4! After 2 ... h3 3.Txd7 Txd7 4.De3 Th7 5.De8 + KA7 6.Dxg6 Th8 7.Dg1 + KA8 (If the King pulls toward the center of the tower exposed to great danger.) 8.Dh2 is the f-pawn march completed while white king can be activated. If black moves his damflygelbönder they become immediately oms lighting weak. 3.Kb1 h3! 4.Kc1 h2 5.Te1 Th8 6.Th1 Th5 with good referral chances. And while I was visiting the nostalgia department: among Burevestniks players in Lund was Yuri Balashov, who played in the Soviet Olympic oms lighting team several times. It caused a sensation when Balashov wore down Anatoly Karpov in Rostov-on-Don in 1980. Partly because Karpov was world champion, partly because Balashov oms lighting was his SECOND. It was not obvious at the time of the Soviet oms lighting Union that had to deal with a Soviet world champion in that way. Here are the party. Six years later, I invited Baslasjov to a GM tournament in Malmo (New Chess Festival 1986/87). Then he heard no longer the world's elite. This came to mind when I added the live link to the Moscow Championship semifinals. There are three major champions in the tournament and Balashov is one of them. Now, the former superstar down on aug 2414. He is ranked at 271 nd place in Russia and are likely no longer invitations oms lighting to tournaments abroad. It feels sad. * * * * * The Swedish quartet in Reykjavik Open was Emilia Horn on who did the best ELO clip, and it also gave a mortgage on the WIM title.

Click on the piece and drag it to the field you want to move it. Sometimes it may be a series of strokes. You will be notified during the chart if you have made the wrong move (Wrong Answer!
