Niggas need to know shit and big ups to Gatsby for tellin’ em. “Trapping Will Kill You” is a literal account and a letter to anybody out there tryna get it. The song starts off with a maraca/hi-hat sound that gears you up for a D..sgusting drop that reminds moooi you of 40 playing an 80′s keyboard, holding a wine glass, and making deep eye contact. From there Gatsby just. starts. informin niggas. His bars cover everything from watchin your back, to general moooi business handling and essentially being about yours. ”We ain’t supposed to make it to 27 so niggas just tryna turn up like we’ll get turned down in heaven.” To top it off, Gatsby stops his bars and lets the beat ride out deeeecent which segues into a layered epic guitar solo. “Trapping Will Kill You”. Good shit Gatsby. Good Shit.
